Department of Missions & Evangelism
The mission of the department of missions and evangelism is to provide outreach and spiritually enriched programs to West Chester and the surrounding area, as well as foreign lands; and to establish alliances with local churches and community organizations in order to fulfill the missionary command of witnessing, sharing and caring for all of God’s children, with the ultimate purpose of saving souls in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Evangelism is our church's effort to win souls for Jesus Christ. The church is the Body of Christ, and as responsible members we are part of that Body. As such we need to be acutely aware of the unchurched and the unsaved, those who live without knowing Jesus Christ or his power, joy, forgiveness, and love.
Food Pantry is our volunteer team effort to distribute food as needed to persons within the church, as well as in the community. In addition to delivering the food, our volunteers listen to people’s needs and hurts, and share words of hope from the Bible. Our youth will support these efforts by assisting with packaging and food delivery.
Missionary Ministry is St. Paul's response to the mandates of Christianity in spirituality, fellowship and service. With love and compassion the missionaries reach out to the community and are available to help wherever there is a need.
